Strategic Communications and Outreach Manager
Paula’s favorite aspect of her job is figuring out how to be more impactful, how to best “tell our story,” and how to find the best channels to deliver those pieces of good news. She loves the fact that a solid communications plan can result in impacts and have reverberations from local audiences to elected officials and beyond. Those who work with Paula enjoy the positive and creative energy she brings to a team atmosphere.
The most meaningful type of work to Paula are projects through which she and her team can see a positive impact; it may happen quickly or it may take time, but it’s worth the work and passion.
Outside of work, Paula has spent the past 15 years coaching softball and volleyball. Now that her daughters are off to college, she and her husband enjoy puttering around the yard and doing landscaping projects, grilling fun new recipes and spoiling their dog, “Toots” (3.5-pound Yorkie)! They are also massive sports fans; you can find them attending Badger games and watching every sport possible on TV from the Bucks to the Brewers and beyond. Having worked in TV and radio for decades, Paula considers herself quite the news and politics “junkie.”
